Esteemed Studio Owners and Teachers:

We invite you and your students to participate in our Hawaiian Summer Dance, Showcase & Invitation- al Team Match. This event will start late afternoon and run into the evening, providing ample opportu- nities for social dancing and a wonderful show.

If you are interested in participating in our Team Match here's what you need to know:

  • We need a minimum of 4 teams and maximum of 8 teams to have the Match
  • Each Studio/Team will be comprised of 6 couples (May combine with other studio/teacher to reach required number of couples). No partner sharing. (i.e. One pro with two amateur partners)
  • Each Team will be identified by a color
  • Each Team will parade around the floor as an introduction of teams.

The Dances will be: Quickstep, Samba, Bolero, American Foxtrot, Salsa, West Coast Swing The Dances will last a minimum of 1:20 and a maximum of 1:30 (one minute thirty seconds) Each couple can be comprised as follows: Pro/Am, Am/Am, Same-Sex

  • Age of participants: 16 and above Costumes not required but encouraged.
  • Entry Fee: $300 ($25/dancer, Pro or Amateur) Per Team

Highest Scoring Team receives Champion Certificate/Plaque and 30% off on next year's Team Match.

Showcase numbers:

Our Showcase numbers will be as follows: Amateur Couple, Pro/Am Couple, Same-Sex Couple or Group (3 or more dancers). Show numbers will be a maximum of 1:30 (one minute thirty seconds) for duets and 2:30 (two minutes thirty seconds) for groups. Please submit edited music with entry. You'll find entry forms attached. Please email completed forms with music to Once registrar receives completed forms, you'll receive an invoice and link to PayPal for payment.

Entry Fee:

  • $25 - Per Amateur First Number
  • $15 - Per Amateur All Other Numbers

Due to time constraints we will be limited to only 30 numbers (not including Team Match). Please sub- mit your entry as early as possible. Entries received after our limit of 30 numbers has been reached, will be returned.

Spectator General Admission:

  • $15 - USA Dance Members
  • $20 - Non Members
  • $10 - Family Discount (50 total seats; names need to be emailed with entry forms to they will be assigned on a first come first serve basis)
  • $45 - Light Hawaiian Dinner Buffet (VIP Seating) - 3 Tables Only (24 guests) Tentative Menue: Teriyaki Chicken, Steam Rice, Sushi & Vegetarian Rolls, Salad, Fruit

Closes - August 1, 2017 (Entries must be received by this date, no exceptions)

USA Dance Membership not required for performers. Registration is considered complete when entry forms, payment and music have been received. Only 30 numbers will be allowed on a first come first serve basis.

Types of Entry: Amateur Couple, Pro/Am Couple, Group (3 or more participants) - Couples may be same sex.
