USA Dance Los Angeles County

Did you know that USA Dance Los Angeles County is a local chapter of USA Dance, Inc., a national non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to increasing the quality and quantity of ballroom dance in the U.S., and to fostering the inclusion of DanceSport (the competitive form of ballroom) into the Olympics? Chapter volunteers share the vision of our National organization, working to create awareness of the many benefits of ballroom dance and to encourage everyone (Junior, Adult and Senior dancers) to participate, either on a social or competitive level.

We would like to do more…but We Need Your Help.

Revenues from chapter dances cover our operating costs.  For everything else, we rely on donations above and beyond admission fees.  This is why we sell ads in the chapter’s Showcase program, or solicit sponsors.

Your chapter has long been a supporter of K-12 dance education.  Our preliminary budget for K-12 programs in 2012 is $3000.  That is less than $6 per member!  Please help support this activity by making a donation now via PayPal.  Specify “K-12” in the transaction notes – and print your receipt because all donations are tax-deductible.

Your Directors also would like to help support upcoming amateur DanceSport events organized by other chapters, until such time as we can host an event ourselves.  Our fundraising target is $3000 (less than $6 per member!).  Please help support this goal by making a donation now via PayPal.  Specify “DanceSport” in the transaction notes – and print your receipt because all donations are tax-deductible.
