Board of Directors Changing of the Guard
Two new board members officially joined the USA Dance Los Angeles County Board of Directors as of our January 17th, 2011 Board Meeting.
The new members Kent Lowell, who will be acting as Vice President, and Alexandra Caluen, who will be heading up our new DanceSport committe.
Previous Vice President Herbert McGurk was made President, to replace retiring president David Spetner.
Former “Board Member at Large” Charles Edelsohn will act as Secretary, to replace former secretary Judith Searle.
Other board members who resigned as of the end of 2010 are Livia Squires and Winnie Carnegie. Winnie will continue to work with the chapter on a volunteer basis, heading up our Membership Outreach effort. Livia Squires, former Director of Publicity will most likely also continue to act as communications liason for the chapter.
Board of director terms are 2 years in length.
