USA Dance Los Angeles County

USA Dance Los Angeles County is a dynamic and growing group of ballroom dance enthusiasts, currently comprised of nearly 600 members. Our purpose is to promote ballroom dancing to people of all ages and demographics in the community, to educate the public on the many benefits of dancing, and of course, to dance.

As a non-profit organization, our funds are used to sponsor dance initiatives to enrich the community.  Our regular social dances offer an auditorium-sized dance floor, a variety of musical selections, free food, and dance lessons from L.A.’s top instructors.  Our community outreach programs bring the joy of ballroom dancing to people who otherwise would not have the opportunity to participate.

USA Dance Los Angeles County is also a sub-chapter of the national organization, USA Dance, a non-profit 501 (c) (3) serving as the national governing body for ballroom dancing and DanceSport, the competitive version of ballroom dancing in the United States. As such, the annual dues collected from our members support our parent organization’s goal to foster the inclusion of ballroom dance into the Olympic Games.
